You know I thought that's what that was, but then chocked it up to a blur of red motorcycle just shattering.

Holy S you are right I had to re-watch to catch it, that is crazy. Stupid drivers. My uncle was in an accident like that on his bike, a lady in a tahoe ran a stop sign as he was making a left turn hit him head on. Luckily for him he lived through it with all his limbs.

Is anyone else here old enough to have the same first thought I just had? That it looked like the 1980's band Devo getting run over?

These guys kinda of remind of the cast from the Big Bang Theory, they are just missing the hot chick.

Except, it wasn't as difficult as that 7/4-6 split... it was more like the car got a strike (X)!

I'm still like, "OH MY..." over the OP video.

And that's why you look left and right before you take off from a light.

Was driving the work truck with a watercraft trailered to the back, started to pull out then I noticed some dumbass going 60+ and not stopping at his red light. Sat there about a second and a half and he zoomed right by.

Not a body part, based on my investigation. The guy in the lower left is the one who was on the right, and that piece came from his bike, which was red. He sat there and scooted away.

While it sucks for the riders in this video. Better to loose a foot and limp out of harms way, than to loose your life because you laid there and done nothing.

I saw that video a few days ago on youtube.
That is horrible.. and honestly my worst nightmare when I'm riding.
I know I shouldn't think like that.. and I dont, but when you see these it just reminds you of the possibilities.

My fear has always been going through intersections, just on the simple fact that a high percentage of motorcycle incidents occur in the intersection.
