I was there to help and coach many new riders for their first successful track days

I was there to do some msf classes to help new riders get a good start

I was there for the laughs the entire time

I am still forgetting good friends and good times that can be added to the list.

If I remember right, the original ones were sometimes metal and either idiots were removing the protective cover, or it was fraying and coming off.

The toy, a slap bracelet, is a thin strip of metal covered by woven fabric or paperand wraps into the bracelet when the wrist is struck with it.

The commission said the toys have passed tests given to items with sharp edges. But the panel said it was concerned that, over time, the fabric or paper covering may tear, exposing the user to a sharp metal edge. As a result, cuts may occur.

The panel said parents should alert children to the potential danger and should examine the toys frequently. In the event a tear occurs, the toy should be discarded.
The commission said it was continuing its investigation into the toy to see if further action is warranted.

Thanks, Teri. I see now how I missed it: timing! Was a working stiff, had a little kid with another on the way. No internet, no cable TV. Prettywife, work, fixer-upper house, and kid kept and me busy then.

I was there when they gave me a company pager! I was there when people would jump and contort when they were surprised by a vibrating pager.

I have one now that's flourescent yellow and reflective. I use it when biking/running in less that ideal visibility conditions. I laughed when I saw it but bought it because it's practical.
