Heroic SP-R Pro Gloves Size 8

As stated in thread title, this is for the Heroic SP-R Pro glove in SIZE 8 (SMALL), not to be confused with the V2 glove. This glove has the following features:

Full kangaroo skin carcass
Exotic Stingray fish buckles, hand sliders, palm sliders
GP Pinkie - finger protection during crash
TPU Knuckles
TPU Sliders
HEROIC Articulated Fingers - Keeps fingers in Racecurl
Kangaroo Thumb deflector - keeps hand buckle from getting damaged in wreck
Fully stitched with Kevlar and bonded Nylon - ultimate threading
HEROIC Logo with shock protection memory foam.
Extra inch of gauntlet from predecessor
These gloves received 2WheelTuner Editors Choice in their 2010 Glove Guide.

I am asking $250 OBO shipped ($300 new). This glove is brand new, with tags and case. Please note that due to the Tsunami of 2011, this glove is no longer being made because it had a huge impact on the marine life ecosystem. Heroic does intend to bring back the sting ray design at some point in the future.

I am only selling this because I currently wear A* gloves and have custom gloves enroute.

payments can be made via paypal. additional pictures will be posted later today.

Note: This glove has been highly imitated and can be seen at Ballistik and Lionheart.

Great gloves, I crashed in mine probably 9 times before I decided I wanted to repair them [The stingray sliders were flapping in the wind, but no bare palm]. Good luck with the sale!

Hey, you live near me is it possible for me to try them on sometime to see how well they fit before a purchase? I typically wear a size M glove but if they fit I could use a glove upgrade like that

@Sirref You can try them on whenever. That being said, you should use the sizing chart that I posted on my initial post to give you a better idea.

Sizing chart doesn't always help... I'm a medium going by it, but I'm actually like a mens xxs in dainese gloves (legitimately tiny hands), so something's not right there.

A note for Heroic Sizing:

When the V1's were around, Todd [Owner of Heroic] would always call/e-mail customers to make sure they wanted the size they ordered; he always suggested customers go a size up from their measurement. I'm assuming this is still how it is. Why he didn't just shift his size chart, I'll never know.

But, I wore Mediums in Alpinestars Gloves [SP8], Medium/8 in Held Phantom II's, Medium in Cortech Scarabs, but 10/Large in the SP-R Pro's. I could fit into the 9/M but they were very tight. I also comfortably fit [but have never ridden in] Medium GP Pro's and IIRC, Medium Knox Handroids [the second revision].

A word of caution.
We noticed that the stingray skin on the V1 gloves are highly prone to scratch the tank of the motorcycle

Not sure. I wear a small in A* GP Pro (current glove) and these size 8s are true to MY sizing. As stated previously, to get a better gauge, measure accordingly.

As fishdip has stated, I have also read that these gloves can cause scratches on tank due to stingray.

Thanks
