Post adventures or sports that you would love to try or learn

A number of years back I got fly 3-4 times in a sailplane with an instructor. I'd love to actually learn to fly them. I fly RC sailplanes but the real thing is amazing.

Here is a taste:

Of course, there is a less serene version of glider flight - especally at 2:13

I want to go to space.
I want to learn to fly a P-47 or a F6F Hellcat fighter plane and get in a dogfight with a Zero, FW-190, or a BF-109.
I want to see an A-10 GAU-8 gun run in person, up close.
I want to go wingsuit flying.
I want to go to Korea and accurately reenact the opening intro to M*A*S*H and film it.
I want to go to Normandy with thousands of other enthusiasts and have a huge paintball battle with landing craft and all.
I want to ride trials as good as Danny Macaskill.

Boy, it's a good thing you didn't say they had to be realistic. I've never even flown in a plane before.

I wanted to learn to fly as a kid....but only so that I could fly into combat. This is what happens when you grow up watching Top Gun

But right now I'd really want to learn archery...and fencing.....for the zombies.

HOLY Cow, that video is amazing, I never knew stuff like that was possible on a bicycle. I would bet he earned those skills though, through years of practice and broken bones.

He's ridden for about 15 years. I think he's broken his collar bone 3 times and a few other bones as well. I'm seriously looking into buying a trials bike now. Unfortunately it isn't popular in the U.S. anymore so I can pretty much only find this kind of stuff in the UK

I would like to build a combination of a Soup Kitchen and Homeless Shelter in our community. I have filed for Non Profit status with the State and Feds and plan to launch a strong fund raising campaign within a couple of weeks. There are too many veterans that are homeless and trying to live with the horrors of war. I think that I can make a difference--or at the very least try. Send me good thoughts--I can use them.
