My daughter finished day 1 of her MSF course. Wanted to show me what she learned.
So we both hopped on her Ninjette and we headed over to the local high school parking lot.

Lol. She looks really young. Just wondering on the age limit for a motorcycle's licence to compare with I'm from. Here it's 16 and above with two different licences;

B2 : For motorcycle above 50cc but below 250cc
B Full : For motorcycle above 250cc; irregardless of the age and gender.

So is it the same with where Tom is from?

She is 16.

Here in the US drivers license rules vary by state. In Virginia you can take your motorcycle test at 16 and 3 months, but if you pass you only receive a learners permit. Which you have to hold for 9 months. While on your learners permit you have to have another rider accompany you whenever riding on the street. So for now she only gets to ride when dad rides.

Nearby Washington DC will not issue motorcycle permits or license until 18.

different bike.

in PA
a written exam and eye exam gets you a learner's permit. The only restrictions that has is, you can not ride at night, or have a passenger. I bought my first bike from a guy who has been renewing his learners for 5 years, had a liter bike.

Here in Virginia for a potential rider over the age of 19, written exam gets you a learners permit, riding course test at department of motor vehicles or passing a MSF course (which includes a written and riding tests) get you the license.

From 16 and 3 months to age 19 you can take the written test and get a learners permit then ride for 9 months and take the test, OR pass the MSF class and you still only get a permit for 9 months but at the end of 9 months the permit automatically turns into a license.

Eye exam is required for all drivers licenses car or bike.

For the learners permit the rider must be accompanied by another rider on a different vehicle (I can drive my car and my daughter can ride her motorcycle)

Here is what the state says:
Quote:
•You must be supervised by a person at least 21 years of age who is licensed to operate a motorcycle, who is alert and able to assist you and is supervising from a separate accompanying motor vehicle.
On a motorcycle learners permit you cannot carry passengers.

In CA you can't ride at night, have a passenger, or go on the freeway with your permit. It only needs to be held for 6 months but I still broke all 3 of those rules. I wanted to do the trifecta, all 3 at once but I got my license before then.

The RSTaichi suit owns. It was a mens size 38 that I had slightly tailored for me. So much better than actual women's suits, sadly. I'm sure many of you know how that feels.

We all have seen bigger bikes with stupid max lean angle but I haven't see many 250's leaned over quite that far. Main question is, what would you have to do to a 250 to get it leaned over as far as the bigger bikes.

So post any pics you got and put in a few notes about the mods made to the bike to get it over that far.

Here is a example pic.

Some were from the track photog (superbike photography @ jennings), some were from friends. We actually had two people with nice cameras that weren't riding that day, so we all got a frankly insane amount of pics
