Get it for $2500 use the $400 to have it shipped to you via Uship. I thought about buying it and race out my 250 but my wife has claimed mine. So will be looking for another 250 soon.

Man that is a great deal. But I am not looking for another 250 sport bike.

Now if it was a dual sport/supermoto 250 that would be a different story. I want one! I am just holding out for a sweet deal. I can wait. Preferably a Yamaha WR250R/X.

sounds like it was in a wreck and bad enough for their insurance to consider it totaled. bikes can be considered totaled for simple tank dents or fairing scratches, so it may not be something major. my guess is it was then sold at an auction to a rebuilder for cheap. this person then fixes it up, and get's it certified again for road use, hence the rebuilt title. then the current owner must have purchased it from the rebuilder. there is one in st. louis - google moto-junkies. or you can also buy them from auctions such as cranky ape and fix it yourself and then make an appointment with state patrol to get the bike approved for road use. keep the bike for yourself or flip it.

careful with rebuilt titles, they can be more expensive to insure or possibly no one will want to insure them because they have already been wrecked. so check with your insurance provider first. and of course their value will be lower than a clean title bike. they'd be best for track bike use.

lol, moto-junkies is the original source of this cbr. In fact I posted this very same bike a while back on moto-junkies behalf. I know Tom who has listed many bikes through his site and despite the paperwork being salvage or rebuilt he only sells bike he would ride himself.

Now the current owner of this bike just needs some cash for life expenses. If some cbr riders/racers would solve the problem of the ninja's pulling away from the cbr in the straights, I would love to buy this as a track ho. If I needed a commuter or was just getting into sport bikes with intentions of moving up as soon as my skills would allow. I strongly would consider this.
