Got my ZX9R!!!

After work I went and picked up my '99 9r. HOLY S***!! It's got power. It has a new engine that has been beefed up to handle nitrous (I don't plan to buy or install it) and he gave me receipts for everything. It was a pretty fun 1.5 hour ride home, even though it was only 24F. It looks pretty good sitting next to my little Ninja.

I think the 11,000 miles spent on the 250R were well worth it. I really don't think I could have started on this bike.

I MIGHT have the checkered part painted blue like the rest of the bike, but other than that I like it.

The D&D exhaust on it sounds amazing, though loud. And I don't know if it was the weight of the bike or the much-wider rear tire (compared to the 250) but it handled the wind like it was nothing.

It actually looks alot better in person. I showed my wife the pictures and she REALLY hated the paint. When I brought it home she said it looked awesome. I like it. Like I said earlier I might paint the checkered blue, but, its growing on me.

-Just took it out for a quick ride and got on it a little bit. Its really fast and the suspension is set up so its really difficult to wheelie (which is good) so you can really get on it without too much worry.

Did you get to ride M-22? I live in TC kind of off US-31, so I can take that to Frankfort and then ride M-22 to Northport/Suttons Bay and back to US 31 in TC. Its a 130 mile loop of some pretty amazing riding!

Oh, that sucks. Well, if you get back here make a point to ride it. Its a pretty highly rated road for bikers.
