Hello all! I have an 08 Ninja 250R and a 97 Suzuki TL1000S. I have found the 250 to be a lot of fun, especially in the twisties. I found this site while trying to find suitable tires for the little bike..the stock rear BT45 is shot, due to too many freeway miles while commuting. I am planning on doing B group at SOW soon with the little 250..I've done a few trackdays on the TL in the noob group (WSIR and Fontana), and am itching to see how the 250 will fare on the tighter course of SOW.

A little about myself. I live in Temecula, California. I have been riding motorcycles since age 12 (currently 36), and have been riding streetbikes since I turned 18. If there is anyone near me that would like to get together for a ride, that would be cool.

Great to have experienced new members on the board. If you track a lot, consider the Bridgestone BT090 tires for the ninja!

I have considered the BT090's and have good things about them. I am going to go with another BT45 for the rear for now, at least until the front tire wears out. After that, I will get the Bridgestones.

BT45s are great tires... came stock on my bike.

But check out some take offs that Richard is selling for like $100 a set for bt090s.

I'm sure you've run across Richard if you've spent some time at SOW.

the rear tire is a bit oversized, but for the track it will work fine.
