Hey great site!

Hey!
Newbie, just got my Ninja 250r April 30th, after taking the BRC from Rider Academy in Mpls. They are a GREAT organization!
I had once, in another lifetime, owned a yamaha 650 maxim as my "first" bike, and was baptised by fire... meaning the guy I was seeing then, put me on the bike, told me how to shift and turn, then proceeded to set me loose in the parking lot. I rode it one season, laid it down once backing up (Could only touch with my toes) and was never really super comfortable on it.

This time, taking the class was amazing and worth every penny. They had little suzuki 250's and I could ride flat footed. Felt much better, and couldn't wait to get going on my own.

I've put a little over 120 miles on my ninja, and I gotta say I LOVE IT! Still can only touch on tippy toes which I'm not thrilled about, but I'm learning to do one foot flat at least... the Ninja's a hell of a lot lighter and easier/fun to ride.

Almost have all my gear... still looking for a great pair of pants... and boots are on the way... Got a great helmet and gloves for mothers day... beats a diamond necklace in my book any day!

Anyway, I've rambled enough... just wanted to say, and I'll probably go back to lurking... this is a great site, glad it's out here.

Welcome Linda.

If you're having height issues, look into getting it lowered. I didn't see you post your ninja's year.

YEA! and pics we need pics woman! Here's your first tip... If you ride without pants, the guys will love it, the girls will hate it and you'll become very popular with the police dept.... LOL Be safe!

You can upload them to an album on this website, then grab the url from that and post in here. But the FAQ helps, too.

you click on "reply" then at the bottom "manage attachments" find the attachment, then click upload, then close. I upload stuff from my phone while I'm at work cause i can't send stuff from my phone to work.
