2012 Ninja 250r in Florida

What's happening peeps, new to Ninjette. I am currently in Florida and have a 2012 Ninja 250r with quite a few mods. I have the Hotbodies fender eliminator, MGP Growler slip-on, K&N air filter, Dynojet Stage 2 kit, Integrated LED tail light, and led turn signals. I also just ordered new fork springs from RaceTech and woodcraft clip-ons. Looking to keep the bike for a few more months but looking to upgrade once finances are in order. UNLESS, I can get the 250 up to about 40+HP; then I might consider keeping it a bit longer seeing as it is a fun little bike to toss into the corners. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.
Thanks,

Welcome! 40 hp isn't attainable without many thousands of dollars of engine work. A slip-on, jet kit, and air filter mod will get you to 29 - 31 hp. Adding another 30% without nitrous or other forced induction is very unlikely. Or, you could just say that the bike makes 40 hp at the crank, and is losing 10 hp in the drivetrain for the rear wheel hp number.

Valencia by any chance? I've been seeing a few new 2012's. I think one was red, not sure though. We have a little group that rides every now and then.

To each their own, I actually happen to like the MGP Growler. I just wish I can find a header kit to bolt up to it, and if I could, it would be that much better. I live in Florida where you definitely want drivers to hear you coming.

Seems like making the drive train more efficient would be a good way to get the wheel HP up. Is the chain the main culprit? Maybe some HP could be gained by going to a non-oring chain. Or a belt? Shaft drive?

I was being facetious; implying that people could say whatever crank hp they want, and then blame the loss on drivetrain friction.
