Sprocket size change

I've been thinking of changing my front sprocket from a 14t to a 15t and I was wondering what kind of changes this makes, specifically in gas mileage and twisties.
Does a 15t front have a significant (or even small) change in mpg. I know it reduces rpms, therefore reducing the speed at which the motor has to spin to be going a given speed, so that should increase mpg. However I heard somewhere that with the different gearing it will require more throttle to start moving. If so would this reduce the mpg in stop and go because more throttle (more gas) is required to start moving?
As for the twisties, I ride 1/3 city (stop signs/lights etc..) 1/3 freeway, and 1/3 twisty mountain roads. And I'm wondering if this will effect the responsiveness when cornering in a negative way. I know a 15t will reduce my torque a little bit, but is it enough to make riding in the twists worse?
So overall do you think a 15t front sprocket is a good idea?
Also what other gear ratios are y'all running? Thanks!
