I rode out to Thompson on Sunday and watched a few sessions. Everyone there seemed to be having a blast and there could not have been a nicer day to ride. I cant wait till i can do another day.

Chris, I know what you mean about keeping close to the inside on turn 10 and i chickened out also. I did get the front of the Duc up over the crest a few times but could not muster the nerve to hold it wide open all the way! I think my highest speed down the straight was 140-- the bike was willing but i was unwilling to go any faster! There is always next time.

yo!!!

Every time I pinned it at the exit of turn 9, I was a big sissy. Thought to myself, naw mang... how you gunna get home? Rolled off every time. Best I could muster is a light front end.

Tip: Snag up a cr and have them lead ya through 1 & 2 a few times. When you get the turns linked up, they flow much better. I treated them almost as one bigger turn. This is one of those sections where you will almost use 100% of the width of the track as you flow from rumble to rumble. Getting this to flow better will drop seconds off your lap time.

Thanks Chris - that and I think the double apex in the bridge area I was treating as one apex, hugging the left and not letting the bike drift out after the first apex.

Didn't look too bad to me from the video, but it can be hard to tell sometimes. The only thing I seen there was you were wide on exit a couple of times. It's spooky if you go wide, the camber go negative HARD, it's lowside land over there. It's a tough turn, lots of stuff going on in a small amount of track.

Ant... was waiting for you to chime in before buying a spot.

I can't do weekdays -- blown all my time off for this year -- but can do Sunday. What say you? Will be staying in red for now.

I really want to go one more time this year! I will discuss it with the wife (she already said its ok) to be sure she is really ok with me spending the $$$. We just put a few grand into the apartment so funds are tight right now but i am doing most of the labor so i think i can use it as my Xmas present. I will get back to you later today (Tuesday) or Wednesday. I have been riding the Duc a lot and i believe i will be able to do better this time. I have also had time to exercise and have lost 10lbs so far (just a drop in the bucket but better is better) so i should be ready. Super excited about this hope there are two spots left! Will reply after wife stamps approval on card>

I will have my GoPro running (after the first few sessions) so i hope we have some other Ninjette members (along with Adouglas) on video to post up here! I have become a track addict after just 1 two day trip! My wife caught the bug just by watching! We will be there how bout you?

Would like to do a couple days in sept but will only be there on the 23rd. Which by the way is $175 and I am told 3 groups of 20 minutes as they limited it to 75 riders.

Greg, aka - Back in thesaddleagain, I will stop by the track during the Razee track day to watch everyone and this time I will find your paddock to say hi. I am sure we saw you ride last time I just could not remember your name and we only had an hour or so to watch. I will see you there! My wife and I are going to the bank today to see if I can ride on the 21st - wish me luck-- I really want to ride.

See you there

Greg, watched some of some of the videos. Don't use your clutch to upshift, stay in a lower gear for some turns, and don't get off the gas or use the brakes until at least the 3 (of the 3,2,1) signs for braking. One more thing, stop riding the pace of the guy in front of you. Other than that you look like a pro (in the making).

If anyone is interested in riding the NYST on 9/7 or 9/8, I heard there are only about 35 riders per day, yes DAY, talk about open track. I think my weekend is too busy, funds are too low, and no way to get bike there, other than that...

See if you can work it out with Tony. The extra 2 bills killed my budget for the trip. I aint complainin' or nuttin', just saying a lil bit of help for the long distance guys would be awesome. 800+ miles ya know...

I would be more than happy to come up again, I had a great time. I would like to bring a friend next time too. After all... it is normal for me to bring a friend that rides.

Next time ya'lls!

Chris It was a highlight of my trip having you there and would love to ride with you again. I will speak with Tony and see if there is any possibility but the rest of the guys on this forum (except the guys who have posted in this thread) to get the numbers necessary for a discount. I will post a new thread in general and see what kind of action we get. I believe i will be faster this trip to the track! Its like 90% mental anyways!

5 or 6 should be the magic number. But seems TTD mostly sells out either way, so could prove to be on the hard side of sales. Either way, ya'll be seein' me again next year.

Thanks. Was timing the clutch less up shift badly early on in the day so I got away from it. I tried to avoid 2nd gear as I was real not smooth early in the day and in 2nd I was pitching the suspension back and forth so I tried to go no lower than 3rd but sacrificed corner exit drive. Hopefully on the 23rd I'll be more comfortable on the track and can do what you are saying.

Come on up for the 23rd. Is your buddy Eddie or his son going?
