Link to original page on YouTube.

great story behind it and it really says a lot without saying anything.

This is Crazy. Very interesting plot for a short film. Person who thought it up has potential.

How did the wife get Z'd
When
Since it took him a while to turn zombie....how is it that he didnt notice her getting Z'd before the accident ( or does zombification occur at different rates for different people)
Where did the pile of guts come from
First time he fell baby didnt say much
Where were the people whose party he crashed
How could he have aimed the stick at the safe zone and kept it pointed in the right direction
How's it that he got shot, fell and the baby still didnt make noise and get noticed immediately.
I like movies, I like unusual subjects but I dont know what to make of this

Speculation:

How: whatever led to them being in the car. She had an injury on her arm, so maybe a zombie bit her as they were fleeing.

When: I suspect three hours before the events on the short. Least that is how I read the meaning of the time he wrote on his arm.

Maybe the parents thought to flee to safety and were attacked on the way to the car or while in the car. The change is what probably led to the crash once she stopped driving and started attacking him. I think it was her that bit him.

Guts could have been a prior kill interrupted by the sight/smell of fresh meat. Do zombies finish one meal before going after another or just target living beings over all else? Zombie shows always have mobs of zombies munching down on a victim turn and chase after the living group.

The party does seem out of place. If this was a known outbreak, why hold a party outdoors? So this must have been a sudden apocalypse, party was interrupted by the appearance of zombies or rescuers pulling everyone out quickly with no chance to pick up.

Since he had the forethought to plan for the stick, he could have made up the rig and started walking in the direction of the safe zone. Once the change happened, the zombie saw the meat and kept going. Even if he had fallen forward as the human died and the zombie was born, the meat would have still be ahead of him. There's also the question of if he was still heading towards the safe zone, the folks that showed up may have just been other survivors along his path.

But I do agree on the quiet baby. Come on, need some realism!

Not very believable. If you look at 58 seconds the tree in front of the car is way too small to cause that damage. They lost me there.

You can get little helium canisters like that at party stores. I've seen them before.

awesome and beautiful! I know I would never come up with something like that - how do you take care of those you love, when there is no hope and no way for you to do it? So cooL!

Did the balloon have something to do with keeping him pointed the right way? Wind or something?
