How Many Miles On Your Ninjette?

Mine rolled over 10k last week . I just didn't really want to post a thread about it. Purchased it with 3800 miles 09/2010. Looks like I'm averaging 600 miles/month. I'm sure it will go up now that the rain's finally stopped.

I have 75 miles in 3ish weeks. 1st week, didn't have a helmet. 2nd week, did some riding then crashed on gravel..spent the rest of the week repairing the bike myself. 3rd week, constant rain.

And to top it off, I was going to ride my bike to work (200miles a week without rain) but now they started dumping gravel on the roads to resurface them. Gravel plus ultra slick oil = a no-go for me. Who knows how long that'll be. Guess this bike won't see too many miles afterall..lol

So I bought my 2009 ninja with 1500 miles on it in October of 2011 and since then I've added an additional 17,500 miles to it for a grand total of 19,000 or 1250 miles per month if your math deficient. I doubt this is record but I'm sure it's well above average so I'm curious where others are. Since these bikes are passed around like trading cards over the years you can post it's total mileage and the milage you put on it since purchase.

But I tend to ride below 6krpm, I will put my engine in a higher gear when going down hill to avoid too much engine braking, I never race and I try to keep to 4kprm in top gear at 35mph as much as I can.

Why don't you just figure the fuel economy by mi/gal? That's a little more accurate than assuming what your mileage and fill. At city driving, I manage high 60 mpg under 6k rpm.
