Hello from the Mitten!

I've had my little Ninja for a few months now, and I've been a lurker on the site for a bit (thanks for all the maintenance and repair help!). It's starting to get cold up here in MI, and I can't get rid of motorcycle fever this easily...so here I am!

My winter bike projects include (but aren't limited to):
  1. Oil/filter change, other end-of-season tasks [done]
  2. New plugs/valve adjustment
  3. Cam tensioner replacement (thanks kawasaki) [done]
  4. Full EFI conversion (because I'm sick of carbs already)

I'm actually pretty excited for the EFI conversion... It'll be both challenging and exciting, and should help me start riding earlier, and continue later next season. Thanks to the many installs and threads here I feel pretty comfortable.

Hah, yup...plus I was looking for a fun winter project. I have a lot more experience with FI systems anyway, and learning the art of carburetor black magic doesn't sound all that interesting to me.

Thanks for the welcoming!

Welcome!

I support your carb stance. There are more exciting things to devote one's time to.

I rode the ninja through the winter, shimmed needles, that's it. Ran fine once warm

I upgraded to fuel injection as well. Plus another 950 cc....lol
