Bike low sided - time for some fun!

Hi!

I low-sided the other weekend (hit a good gravel/stones patch mid-turn all leaned over and everything). I'm making do with the fairings but they ARE scratched, cracked, and not really fitting the bike too well right now - at least on the right side.

So I scoured the Internet for replacement fairings - and found some BEAUTIES that of COURSE I don't trust -> they're the cheap EBay/Chinese knockoffs that you know are going to fall off the second you hit 100 on the highway... and that's IF you get lucky and manage to get the fairings on your bike in the first place.

HOWEVER - I found this one company on EBay, bliss-star-express, and boy did some of their designs look GOOD (and some awful!). Did some research and you know what - just about every single review I'm finding is positive - for Kawasaki parts, Suzuki, Honda....

So now I'm really considering getting one of these sets. Anyone HERE have any experience with bliss-star-express? I've found a couple...

Also - my right blinker's housing is trashed (the bulb is still in tact so I've created a housing out of the plastic that didn't disintegrate and electric tape).... so - anyone got a good idea on blinkers? Would I need to install a relay for these? - http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Front-Running...b7527a&vxp=mtr

This is just what I would like (fairings) (did a little colour hue thing with Gimp to get the "gold" colour). Buddy said they'd do gold for me no problem! - and they'll add the rear seat cowl for $30.

I know two people with fairing kits from that supplier and I can confirm that they are pretty much perfect. Any imperfections I saw with the kit were also witnessed with OEM fairings. The paint quality was also surprisingly good; they were colour-matched to the gas tank and everything.

Note, be careful when fairings don't seem to line up after a crash, as that can be indicative of bent parts i.e. frame, front fairing stay, etc. I know from experience...

That's good to hear! I just keep leaning more and more towards these guys. Seems like a phenomenal deal.

For sure - everything seems to be good and straight in that respect. The right side fairings (particularly near the front) now have some broken tabs and missing grommets and cracks. Pretty sure it's just damage to the plastics and not the body/frame!

Well I sure hope so!

My Winter projects are:

- fix Koso RX2 speedometer (must be a loose connection. It would go on and off for a little (give me a speed reading, then back to 0...) but now it just reads 0... very illegal!)
- Bliss-Star/Bliss-Star-Express fairings
- LED indicators
- install mirrors with indicators
- tires
