New Ninjette in DC
Hi all,
I recently bought a 2008 Ninja 250R and I'm loving it! I took my MSF course last year and immediately bought an inexpensive 1994 Nighthawk to have something to ride, but it just wasn't ideal. I never thought I'd be a fan of a sportsbike (as I tend to like standard, old-fashioned bikes), but when a friend who was selling her red Ninja offered to let me ride it, I immediately fell in love. I've attached a photo of my bike. It has the HID projector lights in it but otherwise I think it's pretty much stock. My boyfriend and I like to go camping off our motorcycles, so I just bought some SW Motech bags to accomodate the 12 outfits I like to bring on trips. YIKES ! No chain guard. I always worry about that because I wear baggy jeans alot. I still have horrid memories of being a kid and getting my pants stuck in the chains of our bicycles.

Welcome. I use to live in Alexandria. Got my first bike and learned how to ride in the DMV area.
There's a good group on Ninja 250 riders in your area whenever you want to ride. DC250 Metro Area sign in (maryland, virginia, DC) |
