New member from CA

Hello!! My names Charlotte. I'm from California and I bought my first bike a few days ago (obviously a ninja 250

)... I don't really know much about bikes so I figured the best way to learn about them is by buying a late model, semi-broken one, and fixing it up.

I'm starting to learn there may have been better ways to learn

.. I refuse to give up on it though.

I had a few questions about it so I googled for a bit and found this forum. I liked it so much that I became a member and am now hoping to learn a few things.

I would post pictures of my new (to me) bike but it isn't the prettiest sight

Welcome from SoCal... I've seen that there is usually quite a bit of member activity up north... we look forward to seeing pics of your project... doesn't have to look pretty... there are plenty out there that need work

I'm always available to help in any way I can. I need to do a little work on my bike, but once it's all done then I'd be glad to make the trek up there and help with yours in any way I can. In the meantime, I'll be happy to give any support I can from down here in the LA area.

Hey fellow Norcal-er. For some reason I thought Modesto was next to Bakersfield, but ends up it's way east bay. There's a place in South San Francisco that does moto classes. Bring your own bike and work on your own bike w/ help from instructors. They provide the stations and tools.
