High idle when turning to lock

Just put the bike back together for a carb issue and now it runs great...except when I turn the wheel all the way to the right it goes from 1300 RPM to 3500 RPM. I looked at the throttle cables going to the carbs but could see no movement when I turned the wheel. It also does this when I press down on one of the cables by the throttle at the bar. I ran a zip tie around both cables to keep them from moving by the frame under the tank but that didn't help. Did I forget to tighten something? It only does this when turning the bar all the way to the right. I don't see anything move when I turn and look closely. Maybe it's in the throttle housing? How do you check for this? Is this a common mis-adjustment?

It's moving inside the casing. Your throttle cable is binding or too tight, adjust it.

Never mind. After posting this I seen a post that said to check for 2-3mm free play in the throttle grip. I had no free play and no more adjustment on the cable by the grip, so I loosened the lock nut by the carbs and adjusted it that way then gave myself a bit of slack for adjustment by the grip. Buttoned it all down and now no more throttle (idle) hunting!! It pulls great and runs like new! It should, with only 301 miles on it.
**Thanks CSMITH12, that's what I did and it's perfect!
