Adding a 2nd Ninjette to the stable

While extremely busy at work today, hopped up on craigslist and ran across a 2010 Blue 250. Spoke with the seller, agreed upon a price and now going to check the bike tomorrow. If it is a sound machine, I'll park it next to the 2012 and the wife and I won't have to share anymore.

No one told me this was an addictive hobby.

Nah, haven't ventured there yet. I spent many many years racing cars. Autocrossing, drag racing, and a few road courses. Just amateur stuff. As for doing it on 2 wheels...I'm no where near ready for that.

You will regret buying a second 250 when you should be giving the 250 to the wife and buying a 300 (the second best bike in the world).

Well, seems the guy isn't motivated enough to sell. We agreed on the price, however it still has a lien on it and he isn't trying hard to figure out how to get it paid off and make sure I have some sort of title in my hand. I know if I'm trying to sell something, I'm on the phone with my bank to figure out where paperwork can be signed so I can put cash in my pocket. Oh, well, another deal will come along.

As for being upset about having 2 250s instead of a 300, the 2010 is the only way I can get blue, other than a 2009. I like the 300s, but I have my heart set on blue.

You'll be more upset with two 250's after your wife blue (blew) by you.

That sucks I know how you feel. I bought my 250 from a guy who had a lien on it thru GE Captial! The seller was kind of the same with regards to getting the info, paying off loan, and dragging his feet once the title was finally in his hands. I got to say, my next used bike will have a clear title in sellers hand or I will pass!!! Too much BS to deal with in my opinion!!

I have found another fairly close. 2010 Blue of course. This guy says he still needs to get the title transferred from who he bought it from. Said he was going to get that handled today. We'll see. Less miles than the other, but didn't want to come off of the price. Still a good deal from what I see others going for. Tons of other blue ones on the web but buying a vehicle sight unseen and not test driven just isn't my thing.
