DIY exhaust hanger, real nice!!

So i wanted to lose my pillion pegs but i needed an exhaust hanger obviously.

So after looking for aftermarket and had a good chuckle at the fact they they are $80 or more for a little piece of metal I figured ill just play with mine a bit. if i mess it up to bad, i can always buy a new oem peg/hanger on ebay for a few bucks.

So pretty simple here, take hanger off, disassemble peg section, i used a hack saw (real hi tech) to cut off whatever i felt like, spray painted the bare pieces real quick, literally just held it and sprayed it, wiped off collateral damage and this is what i ended up with, which is if i remember correctly 13oz lighter than the stock piece

For basically a little bit of time and effort out of my right arm to work the hack saw i am pretty happy with how it ended up. Better than paying $80 + and i didn't need to buy any pieces parts

FREE, ZIP, ZILCH, NADA

That looks good

I got this one for $50. But it's mainly because the bracket that the passenger pegs connected to got bent, so I could only bolt to one side.

^yeah i seen those ones but again couldn't bring myself to pay that, for that.
I thought about fabricating my own but figured hacking the OEM was cheaper and easier and it would match/flow better with the bike.

ill get some more/better pics up sooner or later, maybe this weekend or Friday.
