Factory Pro Jet Kit
Hey guys,
I tried emailing this question directly to Factory Pro themselves but didn't get an answer..what exactly comes in their kit? Curious if they came with different pilot jets also, since I'm wanting to see how a #40 feels with the pod-intake setup I'm running. If not, no big deal I'll just buy those also. |

#40 would be pilot jet, which affects idle mixtures, not needed with your mods since idle-flow is same.
Main difference, and tiny one at that, is only at high-end, WOT+12000 rpms. To adjust for that, you really need AFR datalogging to know exact RPMs, which way and how much to adjust. Otherwise, you can just use needles with slightly thinner tip. Maybe one size up in main-jet, but that'll affect mid-range as well, where flow won't be different. Maverick had kit for sale... pictures included. https://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=324987 Last futzed with by DannoXYZ; March 1st, 2019 at 09:01 PM. |
