Becasue it's my gps, music and other things. If I do not like the song I can change it. Like I said I use it as my GPS so it would be nice to make sure I am going the right way.

why not just plan your route before hand and make a playlist of songs you like, for fewer distractions.
or you could do a google search of cellphone mounts. |

I have a Galaxy Note 3 that I would like to mount as well. I had a Sony Ericsson MBW-150 Music Edition smartwatch that I used to control my last smartphone with gloves on (Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY 4G), but that's too old to work now and the more current products like Sony Ericsson LiveView and Sony SmartWatch/SmartWatch 2 do not having physical controls for using with your gloves. Samsung has made the same mistake with all of the Gear accessories for the Galaxy phones. It's funny that a smartwatch from 2006 is still the best for what I want! Just looks like a fancy analog watch as far as most people are concerned.
Anyway, before that I used my Parrot SK4000's handlebar remote to control my phone over A2DP, but the Ninja's electrical system seems to interfere and it doesn't work without leaning your helmet close to the handlebar (kinda defeats the purpose of having controls you don't have to look at). |

Otterbox
This is far different from a RAM mount and may not be for you.
I had a galaxy s1 (captivate) and now my GS4 that I use mounted this way. No problems ever. It will be out of your vision if you're looking at the road ahead, but easily visble with a glance down. I use mine with the app DigiHUD (which is pretty sweet) on screen and in the background I'm running a music streaming app. Mount to the top of the triple. The otterbox come with a holster. I drilled two holes in the holster (after removing the belt clip) and zip tied it around the triple. The middle is right above the stem bolt. You can just pop it in and you're good to go. Like I said I've never had a problem with it being loose or trying to fall out or anything. That being said... ALWAYS keep your eyes on the road.. you really don't need distractions. I had a Sena headset so I can control the music with my left head while looking where I need to. If you are wearing gloves, it will be hard to use the device. I just open music app, start streaming, home, run digihud, pop in, gloves, ready to go. edit: saw you have a tank bag, you may not be able to see it this way.. |
