Idle Strangeness
When I come to a stop after riding along and fully warmed-up, choke off, the engine idles at around 1k or maybe slightly less, and sounds a bit rough. If I then blip it just a touch, it settles at an idle of 1500, and then is pretty ok, varies maybe +-50 RPM.
If I do further blips while stopped, it goes right back to 1500, no hangs or dips, although every once in a while it'll dip and come back up when I blip it. Only occasionally though, usually it's right back to 1500. Any ideas what could be causing this? I rejetted after putting on a new Area P pipe, and it seems to run well through all the gears, just this small issue at idle. Mixture screws are 2.75 turns out with stock pilot jets. |

Maybe one of the carb slides not seating completely?
Have they been synced lately? |

I just synced the carbs. The slides seemed fine when I was doing the jetting. Are there any cables or things in their vicinity that might be blocking them?

No, it still does it sometimes, though it seems to be less than it used to. Perhaps because the weather is warmer now. It runs fine otherwise so I'm not worrying about it.
