oil in air box

I have an oil "leak" that I can't find the source of. I've replaced all seals and gaskets but I still have oil that drips out from under the plastic under the seat on the right side. Mechanics have told me that the bike had to much oil and is blowing into the air box when I run it. After I ride it 8f I use centers and no leak but 8f I put it on side stand it drips oil. And I'm not sure if it has enough oil in it right noe. Any one help me plz.

It's easy to check the oil level. Ride it for a bit to warm it up, turn it off and let it sit for a while, then check the oil level through the sight glass with the bike upright (not on the side stand). It should be sitting between the two lines on the case next to the sight glass. This should help you tell if the mechanics are right and it has too much oil or if you're right and the oil level is low. Either way, you need to check it.

I did need oil. But is there any reason why I'm blowing oil in my air box? I notice that it only happens after I ride then party on the side stand.

It's most likely from "partying" on the stand, stop doing that.

Checking oil. Check after oil is warm? Crap. I never do that. I usually check first thing in the morning. I never bothered to check after a ride. Would it make much of a difference with warmer oil expanding?

Brady, oil in the air box isn't necessarily a big deal depending on recent events or the history of the bike.

Here are the main reasons why you might find more than normal in there.

Overfilling the engine oil - Know the proper amount, if overfull... pull some out.
A recent drop - If the bike was running after the drop, more oil than normal could have made it through the vent tube into the airbox
Engine overheating - more than normal oil mist emitted from the vent tube
Oil too thin - more than normal mist emitted from the vent tube
A stuck piston ring - Not common per se, but may happen after the bike has been sitting for a while, such as over the cold weather months. After a bit of running for the first time at the beginning of the season, the ring frees and all is well
Blowback from low compression that pressurises the engine case - Stuck or worn piston or ring

Doing wheelies will do that too.
