Throttle butterfly? Throttle doesn't snap back

I put my bike (2009 250R) down on the right side yesterday during a turn on gravel. I'm still a rookie, rookie mistake, but luckily I'm perfectly fine.
After standing it up, it wouldn't start right away, but my friend soon realized that was because the throttle was fully open. After poking something back into place where the throttle butterfly is, I was able to ride it back home by manually opening and closing the throttle, the snap action is gone. As I neared the final stretch, I couldn't close the throttle any longer.
Something is clearly wrong and/or I'm missing a part. Any help?

Can someone please take a video/pictures of this section of their bike so I know what it's supposed to look like?
Here's mine, unstarted.

Bummer Steve, but glad you're fine.

It's one of 4 possible things.

The throttle tube parts are binding and need to be resorted.
The throttle grip is binding and not allowing a snap back
The throttle cable is binding somewhere in the routing.
The throttle tube exit point is broken and needs replaced (I am not explaining this very well, I will get you a pic in a bit)

No matter the cause, it should be an easy fix.

Steve, are you missing a screw that holds the bracket for the end of the cable to the carburetor?

I think so. There's that clear hole and it looks like it takes a screw, but I haven't a clue what it's supposed to look like so I haven't done/bought anything

I mentioned it because that bracket was wiggling all over the place when you were operating the throttle. The ends of the outer cables are supposed to be fixed with respect to the carburetor. I think you are missing on or more screws.

Figure out how that bracket attaches to the carb and replace the screw(s).

I just watched your video again: I can see the boss with the threaded internal hole that the screw goes into and a smaller boss that the slot in the bracket is supposed to mate up with.

You're missing a fifty cent screw and washer!

No springs or anything besides that?
That'd make my day

Your spring is visible in the video. It is behind the bellcrank for the throttle shaft.

Just an update: one simple screw was all it took.
A sincere thanks to you both! I'm back to riding
