Weird Habits

Someone posted this morning asking what your guilty pleasures were. It got me wondering...What are some of your weird habits? I'll start off:

1) When turning off my car on a rainy day, I have to make sure my windshield wipers are in the off position. Otherwise it will drive me crazy if they are stopped in the middle of my windshield.

2) When playing solitaire I have to keep playing until I win a game.

On my work logs I will "never" end pre-numbering them on # 13. It will either be 12 or 14...... never page #13... ever.

Ive got a few.

Toolchest...sockets in perticular. They must all be in order with the size etchings facing out. Drives me crazy if they arent perfectly aligned straight and in the right order.

Dishes, bowls, glasses in the cupboard all upside down. So no dust settles in them.

Cut the tags out of all my shirts...I hate those itchy tags on the back of my neck.

used to see license plates, here in RI they for years have been mostly 2 letters followed by 3 numbers. I would often see a plate and think of a name that the 2 letters represented. So JS432 would be Jerry Seinfeld. Weird huh, finally broke it. I think it was an ocd issue.

Given the choice I eat left-overs before making onother meal otherwise I feel guilty that the left-overs will go to waste.

When I'm driving I'm always unconsciously playing a game of "what model car is that." It probably an outgrowth of scanning for police cruisers and unmarkeds. My favorite is trying to determine what car is following me at night based solely on the headlight pattern in my rearview.

Me and my girlfriend do the same except with tail lights at night. GM makes me mad because chevy and GMC trucks are so damn alike!

If I walk past oncoming people in a hallway or sidewalk, I always go to the right, seems like other people do this as well, I think everybody is being conditioned from driving.

I get a 2 way remote car starter installed on all my vehicles with the pic of a car and a lock on the remote to see if I locked my doors. Otherwise i keep going to my vehicle to make sure it's locked even when the vehicle i have already came with a remote car starter factory installed.

About the same length of time here. I picked up most of my driving habits from my best friend who drove like fighter pilots flly -hypervigilant and aware of everything going on around the vehicle. Everything was a constant threat assessment, but in a very clinical sort of way. My favorite was something he said once: It's not the cop hiding up ahead that you need to worry about, It's the one that drives up the onramp and sneaks up on your six.

That talent comes in handy when something happens and you have to tell the police what kind of car it was. It helped me once when an idiot cut someone off and caused an accident that he wasn't aware.

I do something similar. I scratch my eyebrows, mostly my right, when I'm thinking or stressed. It's a bit bare on the inside of the brow now
I never even did it until one day at my grandparent's house I was sitting there not really thinking about doing it and by the time I left it was really messed up.

With out reviling all of my crazy weird habits when im a passenger in a car I count telephone pole clinch my jaw left, right, left, and so on! It pisses me off when the telephone line ends on the left. It drives me insane.

Toilet paper has to dispense over the top not hang from the bottom.

I hate when their isn't a dog poop bag on the leash.
