I can't believe I watched 5 minutes of that. Great song. I'll have to add it to my play list when stuck behind someone doing 35mph. Nice Suzuki. What was the other bike?

Yeah, that would've been a chill song to go with the views. Unfortunately I had the idea for a nice bass drop out of the tunnel first and ran with it.

It's been a long while since I was on that road. Thanks for the memories.

How are you liking the clip ons and rear sets?

Much more confident in the corners with the Vortex rear sets. They look great, have more grip and are adjustable. I can always re-position them to have a more stock feel for comfort. IMO worth the money, but I got a really nice discount on them over at the kawasaki300 forum. Cheaper options exist so those might be worth looking at if you don't really care about adjustability. I really like the clip ons too. More room for my arms during mellow riding and even better performance for faster riding. I have more leverage for turn-in and having the handlebars in front of your ears during a corner is confidence-inspiring. A much cheaper mod in comparison to the Vortex rear sets so definitely a must (I really, really like them). They could be a bit more aggressive though, they're right in the middle of stock and supersport clip-ons. Overall happy with both mods. They really transform the feel of the bike - much sportier and more track oriented. |
