Hmmm well mine sells video games, AND stuff like board games and magic cards and stuff like that. Maybe it doesn't apply. I dunno. I'll just get it and see if it's accepted. Bike is in the driveway. Just gotta grab my gear and get her started

@choneofakind, it'd be acceptable for me.. just as long as they at least sell video games, doesn't have to be all they sell.

Ok, I got a picture of it! There was a ton of traffic on Main Street, so I parked in a spot, and took a picture as I was sitting there. You can see my bike in the reflection of the window

The store is called The Land of Make Believe. They sell new and used video games, arts supplies, board games, Magic cards, Pokemon, model rocket kits, etc. Fun store if you have some spare time.

Is this good enough since you can see the reflection? I totally understand if it's not

accepted

I'd rather you safely get the picture of your reflection than get flattened trying to get your bike in the shot otherwise.

cool beans!!

Next challenge: Your bike outside a local bakery (so no chains or franchises). If you would like, you can also include a sample of their delicious baked goods for bonus points

Too late now but: Used to have "Gamers" here in Carrollton but they moved in 2008 but we got Super Gator Gamz in it's place. San Diego has Luna games.

Next challenge: Your Ninja in front of a stop sign with a bumper sticker on it. Tells us what the sticker says.

Oh very cool then! I love local places that make amazing baked goods. In fact, I work at a local bakery and help make/sell bread and pizza

I like the next challenge. I think I might be able to get that one tomorrow too. Do spray paint messages painted on stop signs also count? I think there might be a few of those around.

Sprayed signs don't count since that's the way the sign was made.

I know, but my wife actually helped me pick the challenge. She pointed out a sticker that said Hammer Time, on a stop sign. Someone will see the irony.

Nothing yet? I was going to go out and get a bumper sticker just for this, but I chickened out at the last second.

I couldn't find any signs that were already sticker-ed/painted up and am not really looking to vandalize signs.

Just spent my lunch break (plus 45 extra minutes) viewing this entire thread! Sorry to have not checked it sooner. Can't wait to try to find something, but probably won't have luck with the current bumper sticker on a stop sign...

Yep. It's been a week now. @2012NewRider: please set a new challenge.

Also: Just to clear something up: you can go for any challenge on any motorcycle even if the challenge text starts with "Your ninjette in front of ...".

Hmmmm, there are quite a few Orange County Sheriff motorcycles in Orlando. And with it being Bike Week in central Florida (Daytona Bike week and some places in the Orlando area also do small things to take advantage of the bikers in the area), might be able to find one.

And let them get suspicious of me and keep my cell number on record? Are you nuts.

Besides, the saying goes it's better to ask for forgiveness than for permission.

So just walk up and say hi to the nice Officer and smile for a picture good PR.

Besides the one time that my local cops barged into the bakery demanding to know where I just was on my bike, (they had just seen some moron on a lime green ZX6R pop a wheelie and saw my green bike in the parking lot and weren't in a good mood) my experiences with my local law enforcement has been good on my ninja. They like seeing young riders in gear and riding responsibly.

Around here the cager OCS aren't the nicest cops, haven't had any decent run ins with them yet. The biker ones I haven't had any dealings with other in passing or when escorting a sanctioned ride in the area. Which is why with it being Bike Week in central Florida I will be on the look out for them at biker gatherings and do just that. I guarantee they won't say no.

The motorcycle cop in Hudson is cool. He waves to me as he rides by. He recognizes the bike. He's stopped in the bakery before and said hi. (bakery is right next to starbucks. Go figure that we get cops in all the time ) He's a neat guy.

Oh man I feel as if I'd be cheating if I completed this challenge. I work at the dealership that services all the cop bikes. Where we park our bikes is where all the services bikes go during the day.

Not cheating.

I know where they park the bikes at the court house and at the station. I wonder how they'll feel if I park on the sidewalk next to them.

Make it fast.
1. Pull out your phone
2. look at the bottom half of your bike like something is wrong
3. take the picture
4. look at your phone like you were expecting a call (check the pic)
5. put the phone to your ear
6. move your bike
7. then upload the picture
