How fast have you gone?

poll going up shortly...

It was pretty crazy, the bike was so comfortable, had to be in a full tuck obviously. My helmet was pushing against my face so hard! I tried to pop out of the tuck at like 150, and learned real fast not to do that lol anything over 125 and a tuck is a must!

I was redlining in 6th on the 636 thats why i stopped at 176

Don't worry, you weren't anywhere near 176. The bike wouldn't top 165 when new....

112mph indicated on my 250R.

Borrowed my mom's 300C SRT8 one day while my truck was in the shop. Hit 108 before I came up to a blind hill and had to slow down in case there was a cop on the other side.

Speed is fun. I have 121mph on the ninja250. I went 250mph in a fighter plane about 40 feet off the ground. I have hit 60 on a rode bicycle and 27 in the woods on a mountain bike. But the drop dead scariest thing EVER was about 85 mph in a 36 foot boat with 2 750 hp engines.

Fastest for me would have to be ~115-120mph in a Plymouth Acclaim using the 2.5l I-4. Who knew a little ol' granny-mobile could do that huh? Second fastest would be about 113mph in my mom's old 1994 Neon the year she got it (I found out it was limited from the factory to 113mph lol).

You must mean a 3000GT VR4. a NA 3000GT will not go that fast.

Ive gone 145 before letting off on my 3000GT VR4. 12 lbs of boost on the stock TD04s.

Not worth the ticket, I got up there so fast though...

I do believe it goes from ground vehicle to being airborne at that point. Unless you are driving down the face of the cliff with at least 1 wheel still in contact with the ground.

153 in a BMW on the autobahn. I was more scared being in a car that would only go 100 on the autobahn, because there is stuff coming from behind going 50+ more than you. Good lane changes are a must

180 in a buddies uncles custom Porsche 911 "outfitted" by the American Porsche Racing Team, on a closed test track, and we still had 1 more gear to go but we started running out of road.

What kind of mods allowed you to do 121 on a Ninja 250?

The fastest I've gone was 110 mph in my old RX4 (rotary engine). There was something wrong with it which is why it topped out at that speed. On my Ninja, the indicated speed was up to 95 mph one day. I have 94 mph rated tires so I didn't want to push it.

On the Ninjette? Maybe 93 mph indicated.

In my previous previous S2000 (as in my first of two former S2Ks), I went about 143 or 144-ish on an empty highway while taking my brother to work one early morning. It felt incredible with the convertible top down.

In my younger and dumber days, speedo was reading 135 in my dad's BMW M3. He really shouldn't have let me drive that thing I did some stupid stuff. It was a nearly empty freeway late night/early morning.

177 displayed speed on my 05 GSXR 600 with throttle left. 162 gpsed in my 98 Z28. I went way too fast in my younger years. Having a wife and 2 kids calmed me down a lot, now I very rarely go over the speed limit.

60 on a road bike? dang, the fastest my road bike and I have gone is 55. But I'm honestly not sure about my mountain bike since I don't have a speedo on that one. But 27 on a trail in the woods is still quite a feat

fastest my ninjette has indicated is 110 with a 100/90-16 tire so that's what? 102?

The look on my face as I take posession of the keys should answer your questions of whether or not I stretched my legs on the autobahn from Wiesbaden to K-town....I'm not very good at conversions but I'm pretty sure ~285kph is scootin.

This was my 543 rwhp daily driver.

I'm sorry, I failed to mention the nitrous. The speedo on these things goes to 150, if your clever you can get it back to 0 again without slowing down

I went the fastest I've ever ridden, today! 85-90MPH on the motorway. UK motorways are very fast - I had some people overtaking me even though I was going that quick.

150+ on my modded Bandit...Speedo was about 170...Felt very much in control but fully tucked in. Only about 130 on my FJR but it was just getting into its power band, however this is with a windshield and each time I've done it I'm amazed at how comfortable it is and I'm not tucked in. My 08 Ninjette topped out for me at 100 so its probably going about 90. Very comfortable there too considering how small and light the bike is.

A wife and kids are bad that way. Consider yourself lucky. A lot of guys end up being forced to trade the Ninja for a minivan when the kids start popping out.

I had the Ghetto Porsche (1992 968) up to about 135 mph on a lonely stretch of highway when I ran over a pebble or whatever and it sounded like a handgun went off in the wheel well. I promptly peed myself and slowed back down.

123-125MPH in a 2003 Mercedes Benz ML500. 90MPH on my Ninjette. The Benz was governed; just kept bumping it back to 120 every time I hit 125. Should I even poll the bike? I regret going over the speed limit non the less.
