New in Louisville KY

New to the forum. No bike currently. Had a Sportster with a built motor. Thought all I ever wanted was a Harley. I actually have a v-twin tattoo on my arm. This was until I rode a GSXR-1000. Now all I want is a sportbike. I want a 250 Ninja to ride until I can afford insurance on a ZX-10R as I'm only 20. College student, work in a western store sellin cowboy hats and boots. Ride atvs a lot. Currently have a camo brute force 750. Dads got a Harley I can ride so if anybodys in the area, hit me up Im always up for a ride.

I too have plans to "upgrade" to a ZX-10R down the road. I did the smart thing and started on a smaller bike. Sportbikes are designed a lot differently than cruisers. The 600 and bigger sport bikes have an insane amount of torque and power. That being said it takes throttle control and common sense to keep yourself on this side of safe. Will do. I get money from school in august and january, so Ill have it for sure by next spring, if not next summer

Ive found 08 and newer bikes on the local craigslist for as low as $2300 in great condition.
