Hello,
My name is Jimmy and wanted to do a little intro. I will be 51 next week and been riding since I was 12. I have had everything you can imagine and loved them all. I just bought a really clean 86 250R the other day from a buddy. It has 2400 original miles and is in remarkable condition for its age. You can tell all the little imperfections were garage related. Carbs were really jacked up and the air cleaner was missing. Got it running last week and getting it tagged tomorrow. So plan on putting a few miles on it to make sure everything is working right. It passed State Inspection yesterday. So far I put about 50 miles on it and it runs and rides pretty good. I cruised 70-72 for about 25 miles and it had no issues at all. No idea when it ran las Is this considered a collectors bike? How is the market on a really nice 86? Thanks, Jimmy |

Thanks for the welcome.
If I had room, I would love to keep it. But at this time, there is no way I can. Too much stuff in the garage and I really dont want it to get damaged. It survived this long, so it needs to go to a good home. This forum is just the kind of people that can do that. So if any one is interested, contact me. If anyone wants to come see it, I am in the Dallas area. Jimmy |

Thanks. I will in a few weeks.
I want to ride it some and make sure all the bugs are out of it. My buddy is a Kawasaki mechanic and he loves older bikes. He has a 83 gpz1100 that has over 400k miles on it. So he is the man you want working on it. I will get it tagged in my name tomorrow, so it will be a couple of weeks before the title arrives. True I am going to sell it, but I want it right or as right as I can get it first. Any and all issues will be disclosed. I am on the anal side, so whoever gets this. They will be happy. Jimmy Quote:
