Recommended by kkim. Hello!
Hey everyone my name is Jason. Gotta give a shoutout to kkim for inviting me over here and thank you very much Alex for all your hard work! Currently looking for a 2008 Ninja 250R. I've been lurking over at kawiforums for some time to say the least. If anyone lives in WA around Seattle OR Spokane let me know! MSF course and full gear from head to toe are in store by the end of this summer. All I need is the bike! I'm almost certain I will go the private seller route but what do you think about scoping out stealerships this September/October for pickin up a two fiddy? Thanks for letting me introduce myself

Mahalo!
Yes I have kkim and thanks Alex. Does a 08 250 going for $3800 with 3k miles on it seem reasonable? I don't think so at all seeing as I could go to the stealership and get a brand new 09 for maybe 5 bills more. Maybe for 100 miles I would bite. If a good deal comes along in the summer then great but I have a feeling postings will be better in the fall. Am I incorrect in thinking this? |

welcome jason. good choice on looking for a black bike. if you get the bike in october, won't you only have only one or two months of riding before you gotta store it? spokane snows, right? not sure. i know my sister's place up in duvall (seattle-ish area) snowed like crazy this past winter.

I picked mine up at the dealership for $3999 before all the extra crap. But I had to wait two weeks for them to get one in for me...and that was back in November. Oddly enough, they now have three on the showroom floor and they've all been there for a while. So I don't know, maybe it's bargaining season? I see your avatar changed colors, hehe.

Sound Wave: Yes you correct I would only have a couple months to ride but that is okay by me if I can pull a better deal ya know?
BlueTyke: I stay in Federal Way (about 10-15 min North of Tacoma) when I am home with my parents but now that I go to Gonzaga University I live in Spokane. Lurkable: Good deal. I believe that it is bargaining season! Gotta love the darkside haha. THANK YOU so much everyone for the warm welcoming! |

I'm 5'3" and can flat-foot the ninja with a boot with a heel. You won't have any problem.
