New LEDs on my girls stretch 250 I built
Disclaimer: I add this section because I am asked WAY too much. To answer all your stretch FAQ/Comments: -YES! Handling has IMPROVED, it doesn't get blown around on the highway by trucks and wind anymore, and it turns just like it did stock. Its completely planted now, and its amazing! -No I don't care if you think its dumb, nor does she. You like your ride your way, she likes hers her way. -Why is my name 636 on a 250 forum? ...Simple, I own a 2013 636. She rides the 250. and now that's over with...group hug |

It's all good yo, well done. I never question anything that is done to please a lady. Question for you though. What is the meaning behind the gun logo above the kawi tank stamp?

Looks good bro!
PS....Glad you put the disclaimer cause peeps around here where going to burn you at the stake for stretching a 250. Funny how its NOT ok to stretch a bike but IT IS ok to put a loud @$$ exhaust. HAHAHAHA! To each its own right. That is all....PARTY ON!!!! |

I put that on all my stuff, its a CIB (combat infantryman's badge) I earned mine in Afghanistan when I was deployed with the Army in 2011. I'm a veteran now and I just like to support vets and soldier anyway I can.

People are going to ask why she didn't pimp out a 600.. well shes a 95lb chick who has been on mine, and she physically can't hold it up at stops. She does really well at local bike shows showing it off. People can't help loving when a cute 23 year old blonde has a pimped out bike, even if its just a 250. You honestly can't tell its a 250 except by the back tire. She gets asked all the time "Is that the 600? That looks awesome!" haha |

Does it still wheelie?
So you live in Alaska/Massachusetts. Which one is your summer home?

Nice work! My buddy Alan Smith extended the swingarm on his Ninjette mainly to lower the bike a lot to reduce the frontal area. It's a lot of work.
I'm glad your lady is enjoying it. And thank you for your service!

Thanks! Surprisingly the extensions I use raised the back end up about an inch, as the swing arm points downward under no load. My gf wanted to lower it with dogbones after but I talked her out of it. The angle of the bike serves turning better now.

I think you and I define 'improved' very differently.
But hey, if it works for you and your lady riding partner, that's all that matters. Welcome to the forum. |

I hear that, both my cruiser and 250 are in the shop getting inspection sticks for this season and getting a quick once over. I brought them down a few weeks ago but haven't picked them up due to weather.

My classes are at the end of this month. Hopefully all the dirt and salt on the road clears up and it starts getting warmer.

Nice mods!
Not questioning you or your girl's experience(maybe it will help others)... Keep your arms bent/very light grip on the bars. You won't be whipped around by vehicles on the highway.

Its true, its just a light bike, it gets a little dancey in high wind esp with 100lb girl at the control, but with the stretch its planted firm now. Probably the BEST upgrade I've made on the bike to date. She is a newer rider. Only about a seasons worth of experience and her MSF course under her belt. I've been on bikes since I was 17 and I'm 26 now so almost 10 years.
