Impressed

Already got some nice info about throttle tube mods from the site so thanks in advance of my introduction.

My Name is John and I live in Wareham MA
I bought a new (200 miles) 04 to chase my girlfriend when she rides my 08 Triumph Sprint ST. She just got her license last summer and the trumpet is familiar to her. I love how the little bike has re introduced how much fun it is to just ride. I had to do a lot of carb cleaning to eliminate the storage lesion but now she runs pretty well. I have been impressed as well with how nice the ninjette does on the highway. I have noticed that the throttle travel is way to long and the shock is undersprung and underdamped for my 185 lbs but otherwise...what a cool bike!

Can't wait to pour over all the knowledge base here and appreciate the site.

Well done
Cheers
john

Aloha and welcome, John.

A cheap, easy fix for the pregn shocks is install a shock from a new gen. It's a bit longer, but that helps to make the bike a bit quicker turning, plus it has an adjustable preload feature.
