Good news indeed, but why did you have to wait to get the title before enjoying your Ninja?

I hope you have some cold weather gear so you can enjoy the bike a little before winter. I have a Joe Rocket Survivor suit, but there are some less expensive winter suits around too.

So, the person that we bought it from, just bought it and transferred the title on July 1st of this year. The DMV was so far behind that he just got the title on October 5th. Does that make sense.

Yes it does. I was just curious. It's a shame that your DMV is that far behind. They're pretty fast here, like a couple weeks as I remember. In NC we also have an "instant title" that you can get over the counter, same day, but they charge $98 bucks extra for that service, so I don't see it as something I'll ever use.

Intellicast says Minneapolis will be near 70 tomorrow, and in the mid 60s Monday. I hope you have a chance to get a few miles on the Ninja.

Here in VA you get the title at the DMV office the same day. Takes about an hour and a half of waiting in line.

But glad you got it. Just in time for the wonderful Minnesota winter riding season.

I remember the lines at the suburban MD MVA officees, Tom. I'd get to the office half an hour before it opened, and the line was already down the sidewalk and around the building. Now that I live out in the middle of the woods and tobacco fields, I can usually walk in a DMV office and stroll right up to the counter.

Our DMV now has wait time advertised on-line. Problem is those wait times are from the time you get your ticket from the information desk until the time you are served. You can wait outside for 30-45 minutes just to get in the door and get your ticket.

I have driven 45 minutes out of town to Warrenton because their DMV office showed a short wait time.

A couple weeks ago I was watching Zootopia for the first time with my daughter. I about died laughing when they got to the DMV office.

I got this one by FirstGear http://www.revzilla.com/product/firs...FQNDhgodvO4F6w

I have to put it on outside because it's so warm and have ridden in 25 degree weather comfortably.
