Work great, stick great, feel great. don't last particularly long. Reasonable trade-off for many folks who aren't using the bike for commuting or long-distance.

I think Subxero got one of these and he wasn't impressed by how long it lasted.

Here's a blurb from rojo's review of the Pilot Street Radials, where he mentions the DRII durability.
Quote:
But depending on the type and amount of riding you do, it may make more sense to sacrifice some mileage to get better performance anyway.

Yeah, I got them when they first hit the market. Best tire for the Ninjette at the time.

chris, are you running DRII front and rear?
if so, doesn't the front feel a bit weird to you? Mine felt like it was sliding a bit when it wasn't since it was flexing supercorsa front feels perfect, slightly stiffer, to me bridgestone s20 evos will last a lot longer than the pirellis dunlop alpha 13s will last longer than both michelin pilot street radials will last an eternity

I found these to be perfect, they grip more than I would ever need them to (hopefully) and run well in the rain, with air at 30f/36r.
I also changed out my sprockets for a 14/44 ezcot pair with a DID chain, couldn't be more pleased with the results... I usually make small trips except for the occasional highway joyrides, so I'm expecting some mileage from these. @Bill, I couldn't get my hands on the Michelins....they were my first choice but the dealership only had stocks from 2012, so I didn't go for them as they were pretty aged... |

I had 3 of the pirelli rears. First I somehow got 5k out of it. Second I got barely 2500 out of it. Third I changed with less than a 1000 on it because I switched to michilens.
