Ok, ok.

At Al's request, I switched my vote. If you were kind (or misguided) enough to vote for me, please feel free to redirect your vote similarly.

This is probably how they elect the pope in cloister. And class officers in junior high school. (Likely both!).

^ that would be a rather important part of the equation. There would have to be other factors too, would they be attractive strangers?

makes more sense, kinda like how the imperial system makes no logical sense whatsoever in comparison to metric.

30 years or so ago when I was in grade school we were told that the U.S. was going to switch to the metric system so we needed to learn it. as you can see it still hasn't happened. although some products have both printed on the label.

I was told that too, and taught metric alongside imperial for that reason.

funny thing is that I use metric more often with the exclusion of miles instead of kilometers.

8 hours remaining!!

I can see metric in everything except temps. I like the range of Fahrenheit.

0 to 100 F makes more sense than -17.777 to 37.777 C
0 to 100 C doesn't sound like the range of 32 to 212 F

But that's just me. I'm also in the business of collecting metric tools thanks to the Japanese invasion of my garage.
