Looks fun, but it's expensive! I just financed my 300, and I'm not looking for more debt. I think I will wait for a used one as well.

I bet there will be some websites dedicated to totally modding the crap out of that like pit bikes, some will spend thousands for more power and upgrades.

IMO the Sachs MadAss is cooler. It's lighter and cheaper too.

I don't really understand the market for this one. I can see dirt bikes/quads for kids, but a street bike? Presumably in most states, you need to be 18 to get a motorcycle license.

I know that's not true in CA. If you can have a driver's license, then you can have a motorcycle license too.

And who said it's for kids? It's the awesome mpg of a scooter but still having a bike

I've had motorcycles in the back of my mind for a while, and it was the Honda Grom that got me seriously looking. But then I realized that at sometime I will probably need to use the freeway, and 125cc isn't allowed. It looks cool, but after the dealer gets done with you, for that money the used market offers a lot of interesting choices.

There are several people with both at hondagrom-net and they say Grom hands down. I don't know why. I think it was build quality, iirc.

The picture of the guy riding it looking like a gorilla on a tricycle was my first clue.

Well it would be silly to put more bodywork on it to make it look bigger when it has such a tiny engine now wouldn't it?

maybe if it were classified as a scooter here in MA, I'd consider it. unfortunately, it's still a motorcycle and needs to follow all of the laws pertaining to a motorcycle... therefore, no want.

I would be cool to have it be classified as a moped/scooter. Then you could park it on the sidewalk/bike racks and not get a ticket or get it towed. It would open up a lot of possibilities for parking. If you lived in New York it would be nice.

The idea of having a shiftable motorcycle like scooter/moped is intriguing to me. But I'd probably just get a Zuma 125 and mod on that instead etc...

Um, no, I don't think this will be finding its way into my garage.

No idea, bike prices are quite over-inflated here, but it's the most popular 'L-plate bike' I've seen in the last couple of years I've lived here.

If I can find a used one within the next year for $2500 I'll probably get it. I want a bike for the kart track, much cheaper than track daays.
