LOL....I just realized I asked you on youtube what I could have asked you here.... oh well..
Where is the camera mounted? and is that the vented or sealed case door? There is very low wind noise from what I hear. |

Thanks akima & W8INLINE!
Using a sealed door with a 1/8" hole drilled in the back and air filter foam sandwiched between the door & camera. Here is the mount: |

Just out of curiosity, why is there an 1/8th" hole drilled in it? Whereabouts are you riding? We don't have much roads like that around here unless I ride towards Pittsboro/Asheboro.

Drilled the hole in the camera case door to pick up more engine sound, sandwiched foam between the camera case door & camera to reduce wind noise.
Most of the video is north of Morganton NC. Working on low elevaton routes to ride in the foothills around Brushy Mountain and Wilkesboro for this winter. Don't have a GPS, just enjoy exploring and using a NC Atlas Gazetteer to find new roads. http://shop.delorme.com/OA_HTML/DELi...§ion=10096 Last futzed with by exploring/carolina; November 29th, 2011 at 07:35 PM. |
