So whats on your ipod that you hide from others - guilty pleasure songs

OK there is a thread about guilty pleasures, but how about guilty pleasure songs. Maybe you have them on your ipod but don't play them when others are around. I have a ton of them from 70s and 80s but will kick it off with anything by the Beach Boys.

Ok, ok, I'll fess up. John Denver. Bread. Both of those when my mood is more mellow than Radiohead and Godsmack. lol!

Man I have the greatest hits from the Beach Boys and not ashamed of it.

I have a random taste of music on my ipod but I guess the pleasure that most people wouldn't get is a swedish band that sped up their songs by 25% I think.

They are called Caramell

Lady Gaga has a few catchy songs but I guess my real guilty pleasure songs would have to be early KISS stuff.

I dump my favorites onto a flash drive and just keep adding to it to play on the car stereo. Lots of 70's, Hawaiian and whatever I find interesting.

I used to play music in my earlier years and have found there are great songs across generations... good music is good music, no matter how old... but there is a ton of crap to weed through, too.

My latest favorite taken from this UT vid...

Actually, that would be EVERYTHING on my MP3 players.

If you think kevlarorc's song was bad, mine would make people go completely nuts.

I can sing it word for word right now if I wanted.

Great, now I have it stuck in my head...not that I mind. lol

I have "Already Gone" by Kelly Clarkson, umm, some barbershop songs by Crossroads (yeah I used to sing barbershop), some Justin Timberlake stuff, umm...and some other stuff I can't remember that few others know about.

I mainly listen to oldies, some rock (Metallica, Godsmack, Alice in Chains, etc), classical, world, Irish (Celtic Woman, High Kings, etc) and Christian.

What's wrong with KISS? It's the later KISS years that are shameful.

Let see ... I have a Christina Aguilera song (Genie in a Bottle), I've got some Faith Hill (This Kiss) and Shania Twain (Man, I Feel Like a Woman), but I swear that's because my wife uses my iPod from time to time.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Yes, quite a few actually. I used to be a nightclub DJ, so that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

New Kids on the Block - Step by Step
A few *NSYNC songs
and Lady Gaga as soon as I sync my iPod up again (wife bought the album, and it's insanely catchy)

edit: also add in a generous portion of Justin Timberlake haha

haha the funny thing is I'll have that on there, and have the Dillinger Escape Plan playing right after it (insane math-core metal). So it evens out, right?

There's a woman here at work who would have been jumping in glee if you had a New Kids on the Block song.

I rather not deal with them myself. I ended up listening to one of them on repeat for an hour. (Yes, it was done intentionally; I had to unlock something in DDR X2's dice master mode.)

Beastie Boys. Any song. Every song. But my favorite is "So Whatcha Want". And "Intergalactic". And "Get It Together"

Fine, I guess it's every song. And yes, I sing every word. Loudly. And dance, too.

I also love Freestyle music, from the 80's. Like The Cover Girls, Trinere, Debbie Deb, etc.

Have I mentioned here before that I'm not very mature?

I'm not ashamed of it, but my friends give me weird looks when things like Lady Gaga or N*SYNC come up in the playlist, especially after something vastly different like Amon Amarth or Chopin.

I don't see a lot of the posts as being songs that I would hide from others. Bon Jovi and Eminem both have damn good songs and many others that have been listed. Out of all the songs on my iPod, there is only one that I would say,"How'd that get in there?!?!?" and it's only because of the singer, not the song...the song is catchy as hell.

Justin Bieber "One Time"

I know, I know...but it's a catchy tune!

The Top Gun soundtrack. Danger Zone, Top Gun Theme, Take my Breath Away, ALL of it. I just couldn't get it out of my head when I suddenly decided to get a motorcycle.

Other than that, maybe Jeff Wayne's 1978 War of the Worlds musical would seem weird to some, but I'd gladly force you to listen to it rather than hide it! It's Prog-Rock at it's finest.
