Hello, I should have introduced myself here first.

Hello everyone,
My name is Tom, And I'm a ninjaholic...
I just bought a used 2000 Ninja 250 with a little over 5k on the clock.
It wouldnt start, and the clutch was siezed up.
After some fighting with the carbs we managed to get it running good, and un stuck the clutch.
It now runs very nicely, and is a pleasure to ride.

I'm waiting for the title right now so I can register it.
I'm 19 years old, I've ridden several friends bikes including a Suzuki GS850, GS500, and a Honda Goldwing.
Out of all of them, the 500 was my favorite in looks and performance, the others were too heavy
I decided to start out with a small bike, And I'm very happy so far, Im rather lightweight even though I am rather tall, so the 250 seems to pull me along quite nicely, I couldnt be happier with it.

Tom

Tom, you may 'start out' on a 250 ... but you'll never want to get rid of it, coolest ride out there Everyone I've known that sold their Ninjette to upgrade regretted it ....

Yea, I've had a lot of friends ask me why I didnt get something bigger since I've had some experience riding already.
But I really like how the 250 is so light, not to be derogatory, but it feels like a toy compared to the Goldwing I rode.
And I like that. The lack of weight makes it really nimble feeling, I can't wait until I can (legally) ride it.

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone.

Tom, great name. I don't know why Kawi put clocks on the 2000 250 but not on the newer ones.

Anyways, welcome.
