So is anyone going to the races March 20 thru 22. Ken and I are going and staying in redlands for the weekend. Also if you are going are you ROK members? Great club to join even if its just for Fontana.

My wife skipped a couple of important details. The races are the AMA Superbike series at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. These are the professional, top of the line, riders and support teams. Sponsored by the motorcycle manufacturers and other companies.
http://www.autoclubspeedway.com/Tick...Superbike.aspx "ROK" is "Riders of Kawasaki" and is a rider's club sponsored by Kawasaki. It's not free, but it's got some great benefits. They will have a hospitality area at these races, right along-side of the track, and each member can bring one guest. They provide free refreshments throughout the day with lots of bottled water and Monster, their co-sponsor. We went the last couple of years and they had danishes in the morning and sandwiches at lunch, as well as fresh fruit and granola bars at any time. http://www.kawasaki.com/ROK/

It's about the same as the ninjette forum. A lot of "younger" people in their twenties, however there are addicts of all ages represented.
I forgot to mention that all bike riders get to park inside, on the infield of the track. There's also an area in the infield where the manufacturers show all of their current models and vendors sell accessories. Last year you could walk through the team prep areas and get autographs too. .

I'm deciding on whether or not to go.
DMG is destroying AMA with ASSCAR methods and I'm not so enthused about the racing this year. But Fontana is local to me so I might end up there if I'm not doing anything else. |

Yeah, we're not happy with the NASCAR-ization of AMA racing that DMG is trying to do, but, it's local. Let us know if you go, we'll try to hook up there.
