^ only a matter of time. I just think about how bad people drive here in Baltimore DC area. When in traffic there are always a million people switching lanes and never with a signal, just a quick dash for a tiny opening, why? Because everyone in the area knows that as soon as you signal the guy in the other lane behind you closes the gap the ensure you can not switch lanes. It is the D/M/V way.

You're not allowed to lane split in PA and and I assume this is why.

Even if there isn't room to switch lanes they still do it anyway, forcing you to brake to let them in front of you. Good ol' DMV driving.

he has quick reactions and is looking at the things he should be... he seems to recognize all the correct dangers... he isn't a complete retard, but then he spends all of his effort waving his hands, talking to the camera, redlining his bike and honking his stupid little horn. too much human interaction... i think he is trying to be cool for the camera. reminds me of that mark nowhere man except this guy knows how to ride a bike... kinda. seriously though i want to hit him for redlining the bike like that. stupid.

I'd say this is just the northern way of driving. Anyway from MD to MA that I've driven, this is how it's been. I don't mind it personally. I'm used to it, I expect it and when in a car I'll do it myself. If I need to get over, and you're not going to let me get over, I'm willing to take the chance that you don't want to hurt your brand new beamer. What do I have to lose? My car is ****.

Now I can see how this would upset and anger people from other parts of the country. They're not used to it.

But I also wouldn't call that lane splitting. From my understanding, lane splitting is done when you're in stand still or almost stopped traffic. Not when everyone is already doing the speed limit and you want to do 105 between them all. That's just daft.

I'm all for lane splitting but that's crazy. I'm still hesitant to lane split at a light if I don't actually see the light turn red, don't want to get caught up between cars taking off.

Even if he has quick reactions and he's looking at what he should be looking at, he's going WAY too fast next to those stopped cars. It only takes one impatient cager to ruin his day. I love lane splitting, and I support it. However, the speed that he's going is just retarded. Full on retarded.

Thats deffinetly insane, however in a lot of foreign countries where there's a lot of motorcyclists lane splititng is very common and high speeds aswell. I noticed this the last few times i was in France, while sitting in traffic i asked my brother about it and he said its legal, but A LOT of people die every year.

most pedestrians killed are struck from behind while walking on the side of the road by an inattentive driver.

When walking, always walk opposite traffic. I thought everyone knew that.

I'd believe it. I same scarily close to hitting a pedestrian last night. I was going around a turn which has some construction, so the side walk was closed. It was night, no streetlight shining on that spot, and the pedestrian was walking with his back to me on the right wearing all black. Shiver.
