Rough times

Grandmother went into ICU due to a stroke. Doc pretty much said nothing can be done. Removed life support, now just a waiting game.

Except she is getting the last laugh....holding strong. lol

Removed life support and her oxygen levels dropped, then started to improve. Gotta love her, she is a fighter.

I will miss her when she goes. They think that she has irreversible damage...so much they refused to operate. Not looking good.

Just want things to end peacefully for her...

Sorry Mark

Grandmothers are tough as nails wrapped in a soft hearted skin. Prayers to her, you and your family.

Mark, Please accept my condolences for your loss. I lost my dad last month under similar circumstances. Fortunately I was able to be with him on his last day of consciousness and tell him how much he meant to me. Hopefully you were able to do the same. It's hard to lose our loved ones , at least they are now beyond suffering any more physical pain. My prayers go to you and oyur family.

Appreciate it you all (err..y'all...since I'm from Texas).

I'm doing pretty good right now. Just trying to keep my mind off all of it.

My deepest condolences. It's a really tough thing to go through, but when my grandparents passed it was really helpful to be with family and to focus on and celebrate her life rather than morn her passing. I'm sure she'd like that better, too.

HUGS!!

I'm sure she would.

Have the service on Tuesdsay. Doing rather fine now surprisingly.

I have been doing that, thinking of all the happy memories when I do think of her, and busying myself the rest of the time.

Almost 86. A very nice and long life. I have to say, looking back at it now, I am sooooo glad it happened the way it did. It was quick, she felt fine one second and was out of it shortly thereafter. They kept her sedated for just about the entire time, and she went peacefully. Quick and peaceful. If there was ever a way I wanted to lose her, it was this way.

You find blessings all around when you look for them.
