Nj newb.
Just got an 01 ex250f. Loving the thing so far but I have some questions.
Can I straight pipe it without causing problems? I'm alright with the loss of power. I'm getting rid of the rear fender. Does anyone know where to get amber turn signals for the lights next to the brake light? and is there any way to adjust the clutch lever? |

Welcome to the forum
Straight pipe - I would wait for the experts to chime in but I think you'll mess up your valves Ebay should have your turn signals Not sure about the clutch lever |

I hate the look of pipes running up the side of the bike..to have two of them is especially hideous. Plus it'll make me more noticed. I don't really care what it sounds like..I straight piped an 89 jetta 8v.

strait pipe????
Yes you can strait pipe the 250, if that is your thing go for it. You will definately have to re-jet your carbs or you will quickly burn up your valves. And as for the signal lenses, I got mine from D2MOTO and you can put a set of adjustable levers on off of a ex500 and I know there are aftermarket levers but can't think who makes them, your best bet would be just look around on ebay. If you get the ex500 levers you will also need the bushings.
