Hey everybody
I've been lurking around for some time, decided to finally sign up and maybe do a post now and then Lots and lots of info and knowledge here, the best DIY thread I've seen, I don't even remember how I found this website, must have been something maintenance-related. I'm from Vancouver, Canada, got my special edition 2010 Ninja 250R last year in June. It's my first bike, and I'm loving it and riding in general, the more I ride the more hooked I get I've put 9000+ K (about 5,600 miles for all of you, my southern neighbours ) on it already since June, I ride that thing every day, rain or shine. Waterproof Alpinestars Drystar jacket and pants (textile) help of course, and my Tourmaster heated line is a lifesaver, I'm in love with it The longest day I've had so far was an 800 km day, I want to do a 1000 km day this year when the weather warms up and those mountain highways are snow-free. We had quite a snowfall on Saturday that I totally didn't expect , didn't want to leave my bike at work, so I decided to ride it. That was tons of fun, although I do need a new right turn signal now as I laid her down gently ;D But it's all good, I really wanted to find out how far I could push it. I still had to leave my Snow Ninja a block away from my place as it just wouldn't go any further. So anyway, I'll wrap it up. Nice to meet you all and I look forward being a part of this forum officially. Here is a pic of my baby |

yeah, great shot, I remember dealing with that stuff upto my chest as a kid. if the stalks and blinkers are changeable with pre-gens i have a pair for you. they were like $95 for the stalk and another$95 for the blinker. beleive it. if can't accept pre-08's just change to flushmount now from keith in asia. happy trails and welcome from the dog.

I live in Vancouver, West Point Grey. I go riding almost every dry day in the winter, and will be riding a lot this spring. You are welcome to join me if you like. I just rode to Squamish on the new Sea-to-Sky Hwy. A bit disappointing. They have smoothed out the highway TOO MUCH, and took a lot of fun out of it. Anyway, still a nice ride, and the scenery is pull eye-candy. And there are other gorgeous rides. We should get a a few local members together and do a group ride.
