Thanks everyone.

The bag is solar, but not a tank bag.

The logo removal was easy except for the tank, had to get a little creative on that one. haha.

I have some noob questions...

Wider tires? What sizes can I go up to on the stock wheels without rubbing on the swingarm/front fender?

Full exhaust with a tuner, worth it? Its only a 300, so I am not expecting big power at all. but the prices I have seen between slip ons and a full exhaust arent that drastic. I am most interested in making it louder, but wouldnt mind a little extra pep at the same time.

Lastly, I am mostly an aesthetics kind of guy. Carbon Fiber wrap the majority of the bike, or two tone it with graphics? I have access to a **** ton of vinyl and was considering wrapping the tank and rear fender in flat white and making the tank either look like a skull facing the rider or making the flat white look like it is pieces that are wrapped over it, kinda like a mummy. I like the idea of making it look a little messed up, give it almost a rat rod look...

Long story... My ex and I were doing the whole bike thing together, we went and got our permits together, purchased the bikes from the same place at the same time, signed up for the same training class... then she broke up with me, picked up her bike a few days early, changed the date of her training class... So unless you know of a hot single copilot in MA, I'll be riding solo. HAHA

I like the murdered-out bike you're going for right now. Just paint the exhaust shield black, probably the tip too, and i think your bike will have class. Hard for me to envision what your talking about with the "wrapped in pieces" tho.

Lol, even that, if I keep it all black, I will end up accenting it in either red or gold(bolts and hardware, not graphics).

I am torn... I might do the "mummy wrap" thing that I am thinking in my head and if I dont like it just peel off the vinyl. I love vinyl for that reason, you can do a whole color change and still be able to go back to stock after.

VERY NICE! I had a hard decision between the black and green/black. Went with the Green/Black but love the stealthy black 300. NICE!

BAM
I do like the look of the Area P CF exhaust, but I would probably stick with the standard mount if I did get one. Lol
I already have the Yoshi exhaust bracket and wouldnt want to replace it.

Small, small, super tiny update for you guys...

I removed my front reflectors, picked up some gold colored odds and ends (CNC machined oil cap, gold swing arm spools), and got myself a rear stand.

I have decided to mix and match a few things I have found in various places(some from this site (Thanks @Dark)) and wanted to get some 2 cents on my ideas...

First! I want to clean up the rear end, so I am thinking of swapping my stock exhaust to a stubby one(possibly custom piped to get it sitting where I want it), removing the Yoshi bracket I have and doing a rear brake reservoir delete.
This all came from the look of Dark's R1:

Absolutely gorgeous in my opinion

The other thing I am confident on and will be doing is going gold. LOL
I want the undertones of the bike to have a gold look to it. similar to this 250(except in gold indstead of red obviously):

Opinions?

Nope, she jumped the band wagon to a gixxer 750, 2 weeks after getting her Ninja(so she could "keep up" with her friends), talks a bunch of **** about how slow my bike is... and yet somehow has nothing to say every time I eat her up around the turns... LOL, I dont talk to her anymore anyway so whatever.

Thanks JohnnyBravo, I am pretty sure this is the route I will take with it. Anyone else want to toss 2 cents in?

I'm perfectly fine with my 300... I don't need to run over 100, ninja is pretty quick enough for the road.
So you going gold, or red, or a whole nother color?

I am thinking mostly gold with a few hits of red.

This^^^ is my main concern... Looks awesome, but might sound like doo doo...

So the inner geek in me came out yesterday... I went to Comic Con Boston... and met an artist who does commission work, so I asked him to do a rendering of a black Ninja with gold and red accents and a "sinister" looking rider. He is sending me the render in the next few days, I will scan it and post it up when I get it.

Oh and just cause I like it when threads have pictures:

Lol, yea, a pair of Camo shorts and a t-shirt.

There were a few good ones there though. The one I liked the most was Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill series, mostly cause he had a nurse with him

Haha sounds like my usual Halloween costume, whatever I put on that morning. Never played silent hill, but that costume is over the top!

Silent Hill is a great game series. Similar to the Resident Evil Series but In my opinion a little more twisted in nature.
