First bike! SE Red 2012 :D
Hi guys,
So, I've been stalking this forum for many many months, and finally I got my bike today! Went over to a dealer today, paid for it, and to my delight they delivered a few hours after that. Just went out with for a little night ride with full gear, and I'm just loving this bike. Too bad, I'm still in the break-in period and can't rev it up TOO high. Do I not need to worry about anything until the 600mile point? What kind of lock should I get? Thanks! |

Congrats on the new bike and welcome. Did you pay for it in full? What kind of lock are you looking for? I posted a similar question which led to some good examples of alarms, disc locks and even chains. Check it out if you'd like.

You dont really have to worry about Breslin on the 250 just dont stay at any sustained rpm for too long and shift through all the gears. Taking it near redline isn't going to damage it one bit, just don't stay there too long
AND DIDN'T YOU HEAR THE NEW NINJA 300 IS COMING OUT ON THE 13th!?!?!? RETURN YOUR 250!!!

Xena xx-6 disc lock alarm is great.
Nice looking bike, should have held out for the 2013 model though! :P |
