Is there where I get to hang out now?

So I sold the Ninjette last week, and have cash in hand to pay off an engagement ring. Tradin' one nice ride for another, huh? huh? huh? Awww Yissss.... Ok, sorry... sidetracked...

I have the VFR at the shop, all torn down for a frame replacement. Long and frustrating story, but it's progress. In the meantime, I'm struggling to STOP looking at other bikes to buy. I really want something "adventure-ish", but with good long range highway prowess. I'm thinking KLR650 or something like that.

Anyway, I'm still gonna be around, but I guess I won't be looking through 08-12 Farkles much anymore...

You know Jonathan traded his Hyosung for a KLR650? I haved talked to him in months. I wonder how he is liking it. You should see if you can take a ride on his.

Yeah, I talked to him a few weeks ago when he saw the ninja for sale on the other forum. He was loving it back then.

Congratulations! You both look very happy!

I am in a similar situation. I am looking at 250s, 300s and the KLR650 mostly. Either with plastics or supermoto as a second more practical bike.

I probably won't do much off-roading… but KLRs are great Jeep-like bikes from what I've read - a great adventure type bike. I'll probably get one so I have something different than another sport bike.

Could you imagine coming up on traffic on the highway and jumping into the ditch?
